What a day! The sky is blue, the sun is shining and it is so warm I think I will need my budgie smugglers (Speedo's) today! I walked down to the waterside at 09.00hrs. and there was not a ripple on the surface, the water as calm as a mill pond. We boarded the ferry at noon for a trip around the islands. It is so peaceful, I cannot think of a better place to be to escape from the madding crowd. I wonder if the inhabitants of this wonderful archipeleago consider how lucky they are to reside in such a peaceful haven. We arrive back at 17.35hrs. and still the weather is superb. Time for some food and a cold beer or two. A thoroughly enjoyable day.
